When we started our Live! news aggregator we added various simracing communities RSS feeds to the system, and FlatOutClub was one of the most enthusiastic with the idea. Now, with this new simracing-live.com project FlatOutClub is willing to participate too so we can only be thankfull.

FlatOutClub is now a licensed team

FlatOutClub is a team at the same time a team and a racing community, running their own series as well as participating in external ones.

With flatout we have two french licensed teams, one from UK, one from The Netherlands, one from Germany, one from Spain and one from Sweden, even if all them are pretty international.

What to say about RPM… I had my first on-line racing experience there and it was great to jump from public servers to a professionally sanctioned league with clean and fast drivers.

The time passed and RPMnet became a bigger community with hundreds of users hosting the biggest WTCC league with Race07 called RD WTCC World Championship - a record of participation in simracing.

As a team, Roaring Pipes Maniacs has without any doubt one of the most impressive drivers by the name of Attila Domjan, who has won races in every championship they participated in and have several championship wins on their showcases.

Mikael Hellen will be the team spokesman for the Rebels.

There were several candidates, some of them very experienced and clean drivers, but finally the team has decided that the man to do the job was the ‘Swedish Alien’.

With Hellen we have the second official spokesman for the ETC after Team GG decided that Jerome Benard will be the one representing their team interests.

Team GG is the second licensed team for ETC

The winter edition of ETC has a new challenger. From the country of the world famous 24 hours arrives Team GG.

The team is fully staffed by French drivers and is racing in several events from WTCC to 24 hours endurance races with several sims.

The team spokesman for ETC will be Jerome Benard, one of the fastest drivers in the team and a fair driver to have battles with at the top of the grid.

The ETC co-ordinators want to give a warm welcome to Team GG and thank them for the confidence they have shown in this project.

The format and rules of the European Teams Challenge have already been posted in the league site. Please feel free to take a look.

There are no definitive decisions on it but this can be a first show of the league format.

Xose´s words about the main ETC concept: “I was thinking about the Blue Cup racing experience, and the fact of non existing team concept leagues.  Sometimes you meet with your teammates in Team Speak, but the fact of score points as a team but not as a driver can take team racing concept to a higher step. I think this league is very particular in Sim Racing world due to this. Also the WAR system is something that I have a lot of illusion in”.
