The Japanese track will host this decisive race

After Bruno Marques securing driver’s championship in last race at Suzuka, the FSR circus moves now to Fuji Speedway where Ghost Speed can secure the constructor’s title as well, with the permission of Twister-Racing, 28 points back on the standings.Twist

This can be the next title for GS and Bruno Marques and confirm that they are ruling the sport this years with a comfortable gap to other teams, apart from his 5th victory in a row if Kolbe, De Wit and company doesn’t avoid it.

You can watch the race live on PSRtv, as usual.

Bruno Marques answers your questions

Monday, September 1st, 2008

In the past days we were receiving questions for the FSR World Champion Bruno Marques and here is the result.

From Simracing-Live.com we want to thank Bruno for his attention and patience.

Hello Bruno.

David from The Black Rebels here.

First of all congratz for your brilliant results in sim racing.

Thanks David, just doing my best :)

I would like to know, after driving diferent cars and diferent competitions, what is your favourite track and your favourite car and why?

I don’t have many which I like.. Magny Cours is my kind of track, always did well there, but for racing pleasure is Spa, the whole ambient with the forests around on the track makes it unique.

My favorite car i have driven so far is the DRT 07 ( Last years Diamond’s Racing car ), I loved it. Reasons are simply, the design was very nice, so was the CarShape

Who and when will be the next (portuguese) F1 real life driver after Tiago Monteiro?

Alvaro Parente, I met him in person and I seriously hope he gets to Formula 1 :)

Davide Fabi

Hi Bruno!

Do you think cockpit view should be obligatory to consider a race “simracing”?

Yes I do, it’s much more enjoyable to drive on the cockpit. Although it must be possible to adjust the seating, sometimes we sit too low and see nothing, that’s not enjoyable. But not too far up either, don’t want to think i’m driving a truck ;)

Is there any real difference between use normal equipment like G25 and proffesional parts?

I don’t know, I don’t use ” Professional Parts” and never tried, just have my G25 with no custom pieces.

It’s simracing a sport or a game?

Both. For most people who is into SimRacing is a game which you can have fun. Not that many take it seriously to call it a Sport .. not yet. Someday yes.

Lino Montiello

What are your objectives for this and next year in FSR?

I’ve been having an incredible ammount of bad luck this year, retired sometimes due to disconnections, had to miss re-scheduled races and so on. Been tough but I’m still trying to win the title. I have no plans about FSR for next season though, it depends if I have time for that or not.

Which class do you preffer, LMP or F1?

F1 by a lot, although I do enjoy LMP. F1 is faster on straights, turns faster, brakes better .. it’s more fun. LMP are nice to make endurance races though and rather confortable while with the F1 I only think about Sprinting.

What is the competition with the highest level?

At the moment I’d say Formula SimRacing World Championship. Everyone on World Championship takes it seriously, practice a lot, always trying to come up with something new to outsmart the opponent.
